Armed Robber Forces His Way Into Suburban Home, Threatens Boys: Police

(CBS) -- Some residents of a southwest suburb were shaken after a home invasion targeting two young boys.

Frankfort police say a man came to a house armed with a gun, and the kids inside opened the door, thinking he was someone else.

The suspect forced his way in, threatened the boys and took money before running into the woods as police arrived.

After an hour-long manhunt, officers finally arrested 21-year-old Micah Romanek of Mokena. Police say they recovered a weapon.

He's now charged with armed robbery and home invasion.
