After Miraculous Shot, Orr Player's Team Heads To State

(CBS) -- It is truly a miracle shot on the West Side.

Not because Tyquone Greer won the game for Orr Academy High School, but what led up to that shot.

As CBS 2's Mike Puccinelli reports, it gave reason for the school to rally.

Greer was among half a dozen people shot in an Austin house less than two weeks ago. Then, just days ago, with the wound still fresh, the 6-foot, 9-inch star buried a three-pointer with three seconds left, earning the Orr Spartans a trip to the Class AAA state semi-finals.

Orr takes on Morgan Park in the semi-finals.

They'll earn a shot at their first-ever state basketball championship.
