Above-average temperatures in Chicago Monday

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A milder day is ahead.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s, which is nearly 10 degrees above average.

Rain mixes with snow overnight and the chance for some rain continues Tuesday.

The mild trend lingers throughout the week.
