A Young Boy's Trip To The World Series Landed Him In The Hospital

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A north suburban Northfield dad and his son traveled to Cleveland to watch Game 1 of the World Series, but the two ended up missing most of the game because they had to go to the hospital instead.

7-year-old Johnny Wallach was accidently elbowed in the head in the first inning, when an Indians fan got too excited.

Johnny was taken from Progressive Field on a stretcher. The boy and his dad, David Wallach missed almost the entire game while in the E.R. Johnny suffered from a concussion.

But, the night was not a total loss for Johnny, who was given a ball during the team's batting practice.
