'A Christmas Story' With Santa Opening In Hawthorn Mall Friday

CHICAGO (CBS)-- When Santa comes to northern suburbs Friday, it might remind you of a certain holiday movie.

Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills is setting up "A Christmas Story" home to meet all the kids this year.

The kick-off Friday will have live reindeer, a hot cocoa bar and "A Christmas Story" swag bag. It's also a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

But tickets to see the big guy during the event are sold out.
