670 The Score Host Terry Boers Returning To Work On Oct. 24

(CBS) Terry Boers, the beloved co-host of the Boers and Bernstein Show on 670 The Score, plans to return to work on Oct. 24.

Boers has been out since mid-June with an undisclosed health issue. He has been itching to return to work for some time, but he said his recovery was slower than expected.

Throughout his recovery, Boers has spent a great deal of time watching the Cubs' run, previously crediting them for helping him stay sane and expressing excitement to share his thoughts on air again.

"We can't wait to have Terry back in the hallways," 670 operations director Mitch Rosen said. "Most importantly, I know how much our audience has missed him!"

Boers has been at The Score since it got its start in 1992 and has been hosting on the Boers and Bernstein Show since 1999.
