59-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Burbank

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 59-year-old man died a week and a half after he was involved in a crash in southwest suburban Burbank.

Pedro Solis was struck by a vehicle on Oct. 6 near his home in the 5100 block of West 79th Street in Burbank, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Solis was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 11:31 p.m. Monday, according to the medical examiner's office.

An autopsy Wednesday found he died of complications of multiple injuries from a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian, according to the medical examiner's office.

Burbank police did not immediately return a call seeking information.
