5 CPD Officers Injured In Crash On Their Way To A Call In South Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Five Chicago police officers were injured in a crash Thursday night in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The three officers were in an unmarked vehicle that crashed into a marked squad vehicle with two other officers inside.

The cars crashed around 11:40 p.m. at 92^nd and South Chicago Avenue. Both units were on their way to a call.

All officers were taken to a hospital in fair condition with non-life threatening injuries.
