4 Juveniles Hospitalized When Car Crashes Into House In Evanston

(STMW) -- Four juveniles were hospitalized after a car crashed into a house in north suburban Evanston on Saturday afternoon.

The car went off the roadway about 4:15 p.m. and hit the brick fence of the home in the 1100 block Dobson Street, Evanston Fire Battalion Chief Bill Muno told reporters at the scene.

The vehicle's air bags deployed and four people under 18 years old were taken to hospitals with non life-threatening injuries, Muno said. A fifth minor in the car was released to his parents.

The car and building each sustained minor damage, fire officials said.

Evanston police declined to release additional details on the investigation Saturday evening.
