3 Wounded, 2 Seriously, In Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three men were shot Saturday evening in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

At 6:21 p.m., three men, ages 19, 20 and 29, were shot in the 7000 block of South Emerald, according to Chicago Police. The men were standing on the sidewalk when they heard shots and felt pain.

The 19-year-old man was shot in the chest and right arm and the 20-year-old man was shot in the head and abdomen, police said. They were both taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.

The oldest man was shot in the right arm and taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

All three men are documented gang members, according to a police source.
