3-Vehicle Crash Closes Inbound Stevenson
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A three-vehicle crash closed inbound lanes of the Stevenson Expressway for more than an hour Friday, just in time for the morning rush.
The crash happened about 6 a.m. on the inbound lanes of I-55 near Damen Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.
At least one person suffered non-life-threatening injures in the crash, police said. Additional details were not immediately available Friday morning.
Inbound lanes of the expressway were closed for more than an hour, but all lanes were reopened about 7:15 a.m., police said.
Illinois State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
