CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man and three teenage boys were shot in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood Monday afternoon.

About 4:45 p.m., the four were approached by gunmen in the vestibule of a building in the 5700 block of South Michigan Avenue, police said. The gunmen opened fire and ran away.

Two boys, 14 and 15, were each shot in the chest and taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition, police said. A 21-year-old man was shot in the lower back and taken to Stroger Hospital in guarded condition.

Another 15-year-old boy was shot in the knee and wrist and was treated and released from Stroger, according to police.

Police said the shooting may be gang-related.
