3 Shot In Back Of The Yards

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three men were shot Monday morning in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 9:25 a.m. in the 5200 block of South Ashland, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

A 19-year-old was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said. The second man, age 37, was shot in the upper thigh and was in critical condition at Stroger.

The third man, 18, was struck in the buttocks and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
