3 Hurt, 2 Critically, In Domestic Stabbing In Oakland

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two men and a woman were stabbed Saturday morning during a domestic fight in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.

Officers responded to reports of a domestic incident about 7:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Chicago Police. They arrived to discover that three people had been stabbed.

A 46-year-old woman was stabbed in the head, chest and left bicep, while a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the neck, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. Another man, 36, was stabbed in the face and left hand and was also taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.

A male has been taken into custody in connection with the attack, according to police. Charges are pending.
