3 Chicago Police Officers Hurt In Squad Car Crash In Lawndale

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three Chicago police officers were taken to the hospital after crashing their unmarked SUV in Lawndale on Saturday evening.
Police said, around 5:50 p.m., the officers were driving south on Homan Avenue, when they crashed into a building just north of Douglas Boulevard. The SUV then struck a parked car.
Three officers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information was immediately available Saturday evening.
