Report: 2015 NFL Draft Scheduled For April 30-May 2

(CBS) The 2015 NFL Draft will be held from April 30-May 2, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, continuing its typical Thursday-Saturday schedule. A location still hasn't been selected yet, but Chicago and Los Angeles remain the finalists.

The 2015 draft has been moved up one week earlier in the NFL calendar than it was held in 2014.

Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel has previously expressed his desire to bring the NFL Draft to the Windy City. The McCormick Place and the Chicago Theater have been floated as possible venues in Chicago to host the draft, which has been held in Radio City Music Hall in New York City since 2006. The draft is leaving New York in part because Radio City Music Hall wasn't available on the NFL's preferred draft weekends.

The first round of the draft will take place Thursday, April 30, with the second and third rounds held that Friday at the final four rounds set for Saturday.
