Chicago police search for driver in deadly Morgan Park hit-and-run

Chicago police early Monday were looking for the driver connected to a deadly hit-and-run in the city's Morgan Park neighborhood.

Police said a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee hit two pedestrians early Sunday morning in the 11700 block of South Marshfield Avenue.

The men hit by the Jeep, one of 30 years old and the other of an unknown age, were found dead at the scene at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, police said.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee fled the scene after hitting and killing the two men, police said.

The Jeep had the Illinois license plate FR19482, police said.

Police said the vehicle has since been recovered, but the driver has not been found.
