2 Chicago Police Officers, 3 Others Injured In Grand Crossing Crash
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two Chicago Police officers were injured Thursday night when their unmarked squad car was struck in Grand Crossing.
At 8:41 p.m., a vehicle speeding down the road in reverse hit the unmarked police vehicle, police said.
Officers were trying to pull over the car when its driver sped off, police said. The officers followed the car, and that was when the driver went into reverse and hit the police vehicle, police said.

The two officers were rushed to local hospitals in serious condition, police said.
The three men in the backward-moving vehicle that hit the squad car were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in an unknown condition police said.
