2 adults, 2 kids shot in West Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four people, including two children, are wounded after a shooting in West Englewood Wednesday afternoon.  

Police said around 5:45 p.m., four people were traveling in a vehicle on the 1600 block of West 68th Street, just east of Paulina Street, when they heard shots and felt pain. 

A 21-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the face and a 24-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to both legs. 

The two kids were also wounded: A 6-year-old boy was shot in the forearm and an 11-year-old boy was shot in the right arm.  

The man and woman were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. The children were transported to the U of C's Comer Children's Hospital, also in good condition. 

No one is in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
