15-Year-Old Critically Wounded In Morgan Park Shooting

(STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

A vehicle approached the teen in the 11500 block of South Morgan at 1:37 p.m. and someone got out and fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the neck and buttocks and taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

A police source said the teen is a documented gang member.
