15-Year-Old Boy Shot To Death In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are questioning a juvenile in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Vaughn Holeman was shot in the chest and under the arm by someone in a passing vehicle about 3:40 p.m. in the 200 block of West 116th Street, less than a mile from his home in the 400 block of West 115th Street, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

He was taken in to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m., authorities said.

Area South detectives are questioning a juvenile in connection with the murder, police said.
