15-Year-Old Boy Shot, Critically Injured In West Garfield Park

(STMW) -- A boy, 15, was shot and critically injured Tuesday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The teenager was shot in the chest about 7:45 p.m. in the 200 block of North Karlov, police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, Sweeney said.
