13-Year-Old Boy Shot While Riding Bike In West Pullman

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 13-year-old boy was shot while riding his bike Thursday afternoon in the city's West Pullman neighborhood.

The boy was in the 12200 block of South Stewart Avenue just after 3:30 p.m. when an unknown person shot him in the right leg, police said.

He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was stabilized, police said.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
