1 person killed when semi-truck catches fire in Chicago's Pullman neighborhood

One person was killed early Thursday when a semi-trailer caught fire in Chicago's Pullman community.

The truck caught fire at 112th Street and Corliss Avenue, right off the Bishop Ford Freeway (I-94).

The tractor of the truck was essentially melted by the fire.

The Chicago Fire Department was investigating what caused the fire Thursday morning.
