1 Killed, 1 Wounded In Pilsen Drive-By Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Pilsen neighborhood drive-by shooting Monday night left one man dead and another wounded, police said.

The victims, ages 33 and 36, were standing outside in the 1700 block of South Leavitt about 7:30 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot them, according to Chicago Police.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital. The younger man was shot int he chest and buttocks, and was later pronounced dead, police said.

The older man was shot in the buttocks and his condition had stabilized.
