Zdeno Chara Beheads Goalie With Slap Shot In 'Banned' Commercial
BOSTON (CBS) -- Earlier this month, Warrior released a commercial starring Zdeno Chara that showed the Bruins defenseman unleashing a slap shot that resulted in a nuclear explosion.
Now, the company has released the "banned" version, which ... has a bit of an alternate ending.
In the ad, Jimmy Howard sits down on a couch with his fellow goaltenders to watch a movie, but first they must watch a trailer.
And it's a trailer that goalies won't enjoy watching.
Filmed with a "Grindhouse" type of edge, Chara tees up a slapper, which lights on fire as it heads toward the goalie.
