Wrentham Man Dies After York, Maine Crash

YORK, Maine (AP) — Maine state police say a Massachusetts man is dead after crashing into a tree while exiting the Maine Turnpike in York.

Authorities say 65-year-old Edward Goldman, of Wrentham, lost control of his car on the Exit 7 ramp on the northbound side of the turnpike on Friday and his car overturned and hit a tree. They say Goldman was thrown from the car.

Police say he was taken to Portsmouth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
