WRENTHAM -- Four people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including juveniles, after a two-car crash in Wrentham Saturday night on Route 1.

State Police say the accident happened on Route 1 southbound directly in front of the entrance to the Arbor Inn Motel on Madison Street.

Initial investigation shows the crash involved a 66-year-old Plymouth woman driving a Jeep Wrangler and an 18-year-old Wrentham woman in a Honda CRV.

The Honda operator was turning into the motel parking lot from the northbound lane. As the woman crossed the double line into the southbound lane, she was hit by the Jeep.

All four people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Massachusetts State Police did not release the conditions of the four injured people.
