Worcester Police Officer Hurt In Hit And Run
WORCESTER (CBS) - A Worcester police officer was hurt in a hit-and-run Wednesday morning.
The officer was working a traffic detail at Grafton and Franklin streets when he was hit in the leg by a car just after 10 a.m.
The driver, said to be an older man, didn't stop.

Sources told WBZ-TV's Kate Merrill police are still looking for him and the car, which is described as a newer model maroon Chevy Impala.
The officer was not seriously hurt.
His name has not been made public.
