Worcester Dentist Accused Of Groping Patient
WORCESTER (CBS) – A Worcester dentist has been arrested for allegedly touching a patient inappropriately.
Officers were called to the office of Dr. Nikhil Patel on Lincoln Street Monday morning. They say a 35-year-old woman complained about being groped several times during her appointment.
"Realizing what was taking place the victim got up from the dentist chair and immediately left the office," Worcester Police say.
Detectives met with the doctor and placed him under arrest.
The 54-year-old dentist from Shrewsbury was charged with indecent assault and battery.
He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
