Woman Reports North End Assault

BOSTON (CBS) -- A woman reported being indecently assaulted by a man in Boston's North End neighborhood early Saturday morning, police say.

Boston police said the woman was walking home at 2:45 a.m near Tileston and Wiggins Streets when she noticed she was being followed. When she turned around, a brief conversation took place before the man grabbed her "in an indecent manner" and ran off, according to police.

The man is described as a Hispanic male in his early 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, stocky, with black spiked hair and wearing a white zip-up jacket, blue jeans and camouflage boots. She believes he spoke with a Hispanic accent.

Police searched the area but were unable to find a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
