Police Identify Woman Killed In Route 495 Crash In Raynham

RAYNHAM, Mass. (AP) — State Police have identified a 22-year-old woman who died after losing control of her car on Interstate 495 in Raynham.

Authorities say Alexis Felix of North Attleborough lost control upon entering the northbound side of the interstate from the Route 24 on-ramp at about 7 a.m. Friday. Her car crossed three travel lanes and was struck by a pickup truck, causing her vehicle to roll over into the median.

Felix was taken to Morton Hospital in Taunton, where she was pronounced dead.

The operator of the truck, a 27-year-old man from Plymouth, was not injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
