Woman Killed In Lawrence Shooting
BOSTON (CBS) -- Investigators say a 41-year-old Lawrence woman was fatally shot early Saturday morning.
Lawrence police were called to Exchange Street shortly before 4:30 a.m.
Officers found Mirta Rivera shot in the abdomen.
Rivera was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities say three people, who live above the shooting victim and whose identities are in question, were arrested on unrelated charges.
No one has been arrested for the shooting.
Lawrence Police and State Police are investigating the case. The Essex County District Attorney's office is overseeing the case.
