Woman Found Dead In Tent In Lynn Woods

LYNN (CBS) -- A woman was found dead in a tent in a wooded area Tuesday morning, Lynn Police said.

Police responded to a call around 10 a.m. Tuesday about an unresponsive woman in a tent in the woods off Pennybrook Road, and found the woman deceased.

The Essex District Attorney's Office said the woman was apparently living in the tent, and another person who also lived there reported her death to police.

The DA's office said it was unlikely that foul play was involved in her death.

Mass. State Police are investigating. No further information was yet available.
