Woman Dies In North Andover House Fire

NORTH ANDOVER (CBS) – Investigators remain on scene at a North Andover fire after a woman was found dead inside.

Firefighters were called to Park Street just before 1 p.m. on Saturday. Crews put out the flames, but a woman in her 60s was found dead on the second floor.

Officials have not yet publicly identified the victim.

The cause of the blaze was careless disposal of smoking materials, according to WBZ-TV's Katie Brace.
