Woman Attacked And Robbed Of Wallet On Memorial Drive In Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A woman was mugged and robbed on Memorial Drive early Saturday morning by a man who grabbed her from behind and took her wallet, Harvard University Police reported.

Just before 1 a.m. the woman was walking along Memorial Drive near Plympton Street when the robbery occurred.

Police said the victim struck her attacker who then pushed her to the ground and fled in the direction of JFK Street.

The woman was not hurt in the attack.

The incident is being investigated by Cambridge police.
