Wives, Girlfriends Of Patriots Stop At Boston Children's Hospital

BOSTON (CBS) -- While the Patriots were on the practice field preparing for Saturday night's game, some of the players' wives and girlfriends were visiting with sick children.

In a day filled with doctors and tests, Jake got to have some fun.

"He's a tough little guy. He's got a tough road ahead of him but he's at the best place," grandma Molly Antzcak said.

Jake has epilepsy but Antzcak says Thursday's attention was cheering him up.

Jenny Devlin was passing out pictures of her husband James and decorating a banner that the players will see.

"Something so small that makes them so happy is great. Anything we can do to put a smile on their face is a good thing," Devlin said.

Five-year-old Hannah said her favorite player is Pat the mascot.

Upstairs, 17-year-old Brett Parks poses for a picture with some of the wives.

Parks said it was "awesome" having some guests.
