Window Washers Make Surprise Appearance On WBZ Traffic Report

BOSTON (CBS) – WBZ-TV's traffic cameras over the Mass Pike during the morning rush hour usually show the same thing weekday after weekday – bumper-to-bumper cars heading into the city.

But something was a little different during Friday's 8:30 a.m. traffic update. The cameras on the roof of the New Balance building in Brighton featured two men at work, high above the traffic.

It caught WBZ-TV traffic reporter David Robichaud off guard.

"I just saw two window washers," a surprised Robichaud said. "Never seen that before."
