The driver lost control of the van on Shawsheen Avenue around 10:45 p.m., ran right through a fence and hit two parked cars before coming to a stop in a yard.

The family who lives in the house where the minivan ended up were startled awake by a big bang and a chaotic scene outside their home.

The new fence the homeowner just put up is now torn apart.

Two of his cars were likely totaled and towed away.

Personal items, such as clothes, shoes, books and makeup, flew out of the minivan and are now strewn all across the lawn.

Police told WBZ-TV no other cars were involved.
