Man Facing Weapons Charges In Sharon

SHARON (CBS) -- A man is facing multiple charges after illegal guns and ammunition were seized during his arrest Friday afternoon in Sharon.

Investigators say they became aware of a man who may have a large number of weapons without being licensed, according to the Sharon Police Facebook page.

Police charged William Walker, 45, of Sharon with illegal possession of large capacity firearms, illegal possession of large capacity magazines and ammunition and possession of firearms without being properly licensed.

Several thousand rounds of ammunition and multiple weapons were seized.

He is expected to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court.
