Whoops! Nationals Feature Fenway Park On 2016 Team Calendar

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Washington Nationals had a down year in 2015, and 2016 isn't off to a great start either.

The Nationals released their 2016 team calendar on Monday, but there's one minor issue: The cover picture that reads "Nationals Park" is actually a picture of Fenway Park. Somehow, that big green wall in left field didn't give it away.

Before you go blaming the Nationals though, Major League Baseball has stepped up to say the team is not to blame for the mixup.

"Our licensee used an incorrect photo in its 2016 Nationals calendar, a product that the Nationals were not involved in producing. We are working quickly to rectify the situation including recalling the calendars from retail," the league said in a statement.

If the Nationals have another disappointing season, at least their fans can take away a pretty interesting collectors item.
