Whole Foods Selling Coffee For 25 Cents In September

AUSTIN, Texas (CBS) -- Whole Foods, which some have jokingly labeled "Whole Paycheck," is offering a pretty incredible deal on coffee this month.

The grocery chain is selling a 12-ounce cup of joe for just 25 cents throughout the month of September.

The company says the quarter-for-a-coffee promotion is a way to say "thank you" to customers.

At the very least it's a change from the headlines of this summer, in which investigators found that Whole Foods routinely overcharged for prepackaged items. Whole Foods CEOs later issued an apology and said the pricing mistakes were unintentional.
