White Mountain National Forest Waives Day Fees This Weekend

CAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — In celebration of President's Day weekend, the White Mountain National Forest is joining other forests across the country in waiving fees at all day-use areas Saturday through Monday.

Fees will remain in effect for overnight camping, cabin rentals, permits, reservations, and activities offered by concessionaires.

The other scheduled upcoming fee-free days observed by the Forest Service during 2014 are National Get Outdoors Day on June 14; National Public Lands Day on Sept. 27; and Veterans Day weekend from Nov. 8 to 11.
