What Rajon Rondo Would Sound Like Calling Great Moments In Sports History

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo hasn't played in the second game of a back-to-back all season long while recovering from ACL surgery, so during the second night of a home-and-home contest against the Bulls, Rondo tested his broadcasting chops for the first half alongside CSNNE's Mike Gorman.

It was Rondo's idea to give the TV world a whirl, but instead of behind the broadcast booth the team really could've used him on the court, losing to Chicago 94-80 on the night the C's were officially eliminated from playoff contention.

It was definitely an . . . interesting 24 minutes of basketball on television.

Rondo lacked insight at key moments, offering up simply, "No comment" or "Great ball pressure" or "Great separation." The All Star was quite colorless for a color commentator in his TV debut.

So maybe calling basketball games just isn't Rondo's forte, but what would he sound like calling other sporting events?

What would he sound like calling some of the greatest sporting events in recent memory? Or 'The Miracle On Ice'?

The guys spliced some audio together for you to find out!
