WEYMOUTH (CBS) -- A Weymouth woman is facing assault charges after police say she was involved in a fight near a primary school.

Police responded to a report of a fight outside Pingree Primary School on Sunday afternoon and found a woman bleeding from her mouth and nose.

The woman told police she was involved in an ongoing dispute with her cousin, 36-year-old Angela Coveney, and they had exchanged text messages to meet at the school to fight "one on one," according to the police report.

Witnesses told police Coveney and two other women beat the victim, and Coveney had threatened her with a knife before leaving.

Police found two knives at the scene.

Coveney denied having a knife and told police the other woman had brought others to the fight, according to the police report.

Coveney was arrested at her home and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
