West Roxbury Playground Dedicated To Two Fallen Boston Firefighters
WEST ROXBURY (CBS) - Two Boston firefighters killed in the line of duty were honored on Saturday in West Roxbury.
The playground at Billings Field behind Centre Street was renamed in honor of Lt. Edward Walsh and firefighter Michael Kennedy.
Both were killed battling a fire in Back Bay in March.
The particular playground was chosen for dedication because Firefighter Kennedy played there as a child and Lt. Walsh had brought his own children there.
