3 Injured After Train And Car Collide In West Bridgewater
WEST BRIDGEWATER (CBS) -- Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries Saturday morning after a train collided with a car on the tracks.
The MBTA Transit Police said it appears the vehicle went around the gates that were down and blocking the railroad crossing.
The Middleboro/Lakeville commuter rail was heavily delayed as a result.
Update: Middleborough Train 1004 (8:22 am inbound) has not yet departed Middleborough and is expected to operate 55-65 minutes behind schedule due to a vehicle in the right of way.
