Were Toucher & Rich The Inspiration For Two Characters In A New Book?

BOSTON (CBS) - Jon Wallach came in early Wednesday morning and struck up a conversation with Rich about this new book his friend is reading called Cheap Shot by Ace Atkins.

It's a fictional tale about a New England Patriots linebacker who got himself into trouble, and there's a lot of Boston references made as the story unfolds.

Well one string of references in the book regarding "two Boston sports talk radio personalities" really caught the attention of 98.5 The Sports Hub's morning show.

The author accurately described the building that houses the Sports Hub, and even goes as far to portray the characters wearing t-shirts that Fred and Rich actually own.

Kind of creepy.

So Rich downloaded the audio book to find out for sure if they are in fact the ones being made reference to.
