Website Ranks Top Public High Schools In Massachusetts
BOSTON (CBS) – Massachusetts is known for its education system. And according to a recently released ranking, one high school tops all others in the state.
Niche, a website that provides reviews aimed at making selecting a school "a more transparent process," recently released its rankings of the top public high schools in Massachusetts.
Atop the list is Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, which Niche determined received an "A+" for its academics, teachers, and extracurricular activities.
Rounding out the top five on the list were Westwood High School, Lexington High School, Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School in Marlboro, and Brookline High School.
The website uses a formula that grades academics, health and safety, student culture and diversity, and several other categories. Student and parent feedback was also taken into account when the rankings were created.
