Weather Concerns Cancel Memorial Day Parades Across Mass.

BOSTON (CBS) -- Several cities and towns across the state have canceled their Memorial Day parades Monday in anticipation of the day's forecasted thunderstorms.

The following is a list of cities and towns with canceled or rescheduled events.

Agawam - Parade canceled

Chelmsford - Parade canceled

Norwood - Memorial Day Services scheduled at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery will instead take place in Memorial Hall at Town Hall. The corner dedication in Memory of Major Mark Welch will take place as planned at 1:00 p.m., corner of Prospect St. and Ash Road, rain or shine

Reading - Parade canceled

South Hadley - Parade canceled

Wellfleet - Memorial Day service moved from the Town Hall Lawn to the Congo Church on Main Street. Service starts at 9:00 a.m.

Westport - In lieu of the parade there will be a ceremony in the Town Hall Annex Gym behind 856 Main Road at 10 a.m.

Wilmington - Parade canceled
